Frequently Asked Questions
What event spaces are available?
Clark Ferrea offers a variety of spaces to suit groups of any size and occasion. The Piazza Arbor sits beside our organic fruit and vegetable farm and is ideal for bridal showers and intimate dinners. The Grand Winery Arbor accommodates larger celebrations such as weddings and reunions. The Vignette Arbor is well suited to small lunches and gatherings. For complete privacy, the entire property is available as a full buyout, giving you and your guests exclusive use of the property.
What’s included in the site fee?
Your site fee includes an onsite Events Manager available for calls and in-person meetings throughout the planning process, use of Clark Ferrea chairs, tables, and other furniture, walk-in refrigeration, Wi-Fi, and ample restrooms, among other amenities.
How does payment work?
A 25% deposit of the site fee is due upon signing, along with a security deposit check. The remaining 75% balance is due 60 days prior to your event.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
No. We are a beer- and wine-only event space, and a minimum purchase of Clark Ferrea wine is required. Beer, seltzer, and cider may be brought onto the property and served by a licensed caterer or bartending service. Hard alcohol is not permitted.
Can we bring in our own food?
No. To comply with local health and safety codes, outside food is not permitted. We welcome any licensed catering team to serve your event.
Is an event or wedding planner required?
Yes. A great deal of planning goes into making your celebration everything it should be. To help you and your guests fully experience the beauty of Clark Ferrea Winery at Zinc House Farm, a planner is required (the specific requirement depends on guest count).
Do we need event insurance?
Yes. Day-of special event liability insurance is required for all events hosted on our property.
Are children and pets welcome?
Yes, we’re happy to welcome the whole family. Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult, and all pets must remain on leash. Please note: We are unable to host events, birthdays, graduations, or other celebrations for anyone under the age of 21 in the winery space.
Is smoking permitted?
Yes, in designated smoking areas only.
What is the event end time? Is there a music curfew?
All events must end by 10:00 PM in accordance with county noise ordinances.
Is security required?
Events with more than 200 guests are required to have paid security on-site to help ensure the safety of your guests and our property.
