2022 Black Muscat, California

Indulge in romance with sweet florals and strawberry notes.

In 2022, the de Palma Family Vineyard, just miles away from our winery, crafted an exquisite and refreshing Black Muscat, demonstrating a lovely rosé-style wine. The grapes were harvested in late summer, and experienced a warm growing season, enhancing the varietal’s natural sweetness. Winemaking techniques included a gentle crushing and pressing to preserve the grape’s aromatic compounds.

This Black Muscat reveals a vibrant magenta hue, reminiscent of a summer sunset. On the palate, expect a gentle, natural fizz that enhances luscious notes of ripe blackberries, rose petals, and a hint of exotic spices. The wine’s balance is evident in the well-integrated acidity, creating a harmonious and lingering finish. Aged in stainless steel, this wine retains its varietal character and subtle complexity to its enchanting profile, making it an immediate favorite in the newly-opened Tasting Room.
